Just getting started

Ok I do work on cars but never stereo work. Do you guys think i should try to install a system my self or have it done? The car Im getting has a cd player already, for right now I was thinking of adding some 10" subs and some tweeters ; then later when I have more money a better cd player and some better speakers. Any ideas?

Do it yourself, its not that hard. Save the money on the install and put it towards something else.

if you can use a crimping tool and electrical connectors you shouldnt have a problem at all. and if you cant, you should learn -- its the easiest thing in the world.

Yeah, just do it yourself. It really is easy, Just take your time and ask questions if you need help. Camaro's are pretty easy compared to most cars to install stereo stuff in. My parents have a '99 saturn, that thing is a pain to work with. The Camaro is a breeze...
