getting MTX amp serviced???

Just had an MTX amp start smoking on me the other day and quit working. It's an old school Thunder 2160, anyone know if MTX will still fix them and how much? It's a 450x1 RMS at 4 ohm, so it's a good size amp, new ones sell for $450. Would like to get this one fixed.

is that a stereo amp, not mono? cause i had a 4160 4ch and it put out 225x2 at 4ohms bridged, ran two of the channels at 2ohms mono and it started smokin, u can do the repair yourself i believe if u have the right tools, u need some new mosfets, i burned up two of them, they are about $12 each, im not totally sure if this will fix it but it could, i just bought a new amp, and now im getting another new amp. but two of 12 mosfets were cracked and the board had heat streak lookin things on it, take your amp into an electronic store, that sells all the little crap inside them, not radio shack, and make sure you have the top off cause they will have to get the numbers off of the lil parts and make some matches, it took them a couple of tries before they found mine, but they did, and they ordered them and then they sold them before i had a chance to go back and buy them, o well
your amp is a 2 channel right?
