sub box

Do sub boxes built for hatchbacks or trucks fit in the well of a Trans Am? I want a box that fits 2 10"s and I would like the amp to fit in between the subs. Any body know of any like this?

You might not find a pre made box to fit in the well, and if you do, its not going to allow room for an amp between the 2 subs. Best think to do for that is to make a box and have the amp on the passanger side of the box (over the larger "shelf" of the well)

Thanks for the posts and pics.
I've been lookin at the pre-made boxes and yeah, it don't look there i room for a amp inbetween the subs. The problem I have is I have t-tops so I need the space to put them there. I also jam my friends in the back seats so that area is also unusable. I was thinking of maybe doing a plate instead of a box. But I don't know how good the sound is then.
What do you think?
Is a plate decent? I'm gonna get 2 10" subs about 400watt and a 300-400 watt amp or so. Also could get my friends 15" but I don't think it'll fit. It can handle big wattage though.
Thanks,

Matt

Sorry, I don't have any pictures, but in my vert (with its extremely limited trunk space) what I did was to actually build two seperate boxes for my two 12"s and then connect them in the middle with a board on the top, and front. The board on the top is about 5" lower than the tops of each box. My amp sits on the board in the middle, and the subs are on each side. To finish it off, I covered the whole thing with black carpet (matches stock carpet almost perfectly). It looks very professional, and souns great too (even in a vert). And yes, I am very proud of myself.

I also have t-tops. If you know how to make a box you can easlily make one for the rear well and still have room for the t-top bag.
