Quad subs

right now i have two twelves (polk) and a 600 profile amp and i was wondering if i could get two more subs with out overloading the amp and if it would sound right. if so i would like to get two 10s to get the deeper sound but i don't think it will work but i thought i might ask

you dont want to mix and match subs. ie dont get 2 polks and 2 pioneers. also, dont get 2 polks of one model and 2 polks of another model. if you are adding subs, they need to be the same brand and model as the ones you got. as for the profile amp, its probably already overloaded

also, you prolly dont want to have 2 12's and 2 10's.

you prolly could wire the amp to run all 4 subs, but they will prolly not be getting near enough power to move them the way they should. i would say invest in a better amp, like a JBL600.1, and after that is hooked up and if you still arent satisfied, get more or differents subs. because the JBL, or most class d monoblock amps, are 1 or 2 ohm stable, you will have several wiring options to get the most out of your amp. good luck.

Buy a better amp with the money. A profile 600 can barely push 2 subs, nevermind 4. Feeding more power to your current subs will give you better results than just adding subs, especially if you planned to mix and match brands/sizes.
