Old style plug

My stock tape deck on my 91 bird went south this weekend. I was given a tape deck out of an older gta. It is the all push button model. I know the plugs are different, but could i still make it work?

I have the the plugs for the older radio(we cut the wires) and then i have my original plug also. The wires coming out of the old radio are labeled, so could i just buy the gm adapter for my car and hook everything up, just like an aftermarkert unit?

it will work just like if it were an aftermarket h.u. just make sure your wires are right.

instead of getting the adaper and having three harnesses in there, I just cut the old connector and put in the "new" one where the "old" one was.
