Not sure I know what you mean, there. If you're talking amps and subs...yeah,...not much room, but I don't have them anyway. If just the stereo..I went with a factory CD player out of a 91 (I wanted a stock appearance, though I'm not sure I'd do it again if I had the choice), Polk 4x6s in the dash (with a 3/8" spacer under them to clear the heater ducts) and Infinity 6.5" rounds in the rear.

I have a set of 6 /12 components in the back and a set of 5 1/4 kick panels in the front with a 4 chennel amp running them. I also have a set of 4x6 plates running off the head unit. Sounds pretty good for a open car. I was looking for good sound and a little bit of loudness. Subs would have been better but there is just not enough room.

i have a pioneer CD player, don't even know what's up front, i think rockford fosgate 5 1/4" in the back. i did build a small custom subwoofer box that sits on the back shelf of the trunk. it's got a 50W amp mounted on top, and a 6.5" dual voice coil sub (could fit an 8", but that's what i had from building speakers). it's not the loudest thing, and the car doesn't rumble, but it certainly helps make up for the lack of repsonse under 80hz from the other 4 speakers. (it's definitely noticeable if you turn it off)
the box is about 9" cube, you could go to 9.5x9.5x9 and still fit with the amp, so it would hold an 8" woofer. i'm just too lazy to put one in.

I havent got the the system stage in my 91vert yet. I dono what to do either for subs. I might try one of resners(sp) stealth boxes. but I hate to pay $200+ for something I dono how its gona sound. In my T-top car No questions asked Id get it. In a vert.... Its gona be hard to get anything to sound good while the top is down unless you just force tones of power to a good system.
anyways Pic's will be uploaded to here....

...umm there is plent of room back here for sub, you need to know how to build the box tho, i have a single 12" with 1.35 cu feet and there is still room to put **** back there, such as my 3 drawer toolbox and a back pack. You can mount amp in the spare tire area, b/c most people remove them ne way and my CO2 was empty. Or you can mount them behinde the lockable glove compartment, Or in the back of the rear seats....NE where it is all good, you just need to sit down, and look for places to put things, not just go out and buy a wal-mart box, amp and sub and say there is no room. I would take some pics but my car is at polytech as i am currently painting it.

the rear TRUNK area is identical to a regular camaro. Deff. pleanty of room. for what ever kinda box you want to build. Just look at some of the other boxes here stuffed down in the well.
I have 2 12"s in my Z28 vert. What I did was to build two seperate boxes for the trunk, one for each side of that huge bump where the latch is. I made each box about a cubic foot, and they slant toward the front. Then, I connected the two boxes with a piece of wood in the front (front of the car) and screwed my amp on top, covering the gap between the two boxes. I covered it all with black carpet. It looks like it should of come there from the factory. Now, if I had a dig. camera, I could show you some pics...
