Kappa or Reference?
ok, so basically i'm not confident enough w/ my hacking skills to install my own 4x6 dash speakers. i found a good deal from circuit city on the infinity reference 4652cfp plates. so i'm gonna have them install 'em (running off the HU). now, for the rear, would you recommend i stay w/ the reference 6x9's (9603I) or use the kappas in the back (6935I)? i'll be using an amp on the rears. i'm new to car audio, and have read all over that people who mix brands dont get the best sound quality. my question is basically will i experience this if i mix the reference 4x6's with the kappa 6x9's? i'd appreciate any input you guys could give me. thanks.

its a good idea to use speakers from the same line all around, that way your ears arent pulled in different directions due to one speaker's coloration being different then the other, ie. the front speakers from one brand may emphasize certain frequencies while the rears from another emphasize different ones. so i'd say go with the kappas in back if you've already got some in front

for everything that is holy, run the fronts off of the amp. they are where most of the sound come from, you want as clean of a signal coming through.
run the back ones off of the head.

camp3ro, actually it'll be reference plates up front, so you'd suggest the reference 6x9 in the back?
adam, why would you suggest putting the 4x6's off the amp, and the 6x9's off the deck? everything i've read so far tells me that with the 4x6's requiring less power, that the HU would be enough for them, but that the 6x9's wouldn't get too good of sound as they would need more power than the HU can give them. sorry for the questions, but like i said i'm new to all of this, and appreciate what info you could give me.
