stereo system HELP!

I need help wiring up my system, I have to kickpanels, 2 12" subs and an 800 watt amp. plus the standard in dashes and backseat speakers which are already wired. Could someone tell me the best way to wire this set-up and whether or not i need to get a second battey (im guessing I do) and when telling me the best way to wire this, could it be as detailed as possible with maybe some pictures (quality does not matter), thanks, by the way the subs, amp, and possible second battery with all go in the trunk space.

depends on what your subs are and what your amp can handle. are your subs dual voice coil? are they 4ohms 8ohms or 2ohms? what can your amp do? mine is 170W x 2 @ 2ohms.. stereo.. so I took my 2-12's, wired one to the left chan, one to the right.. and put the 2 coils in series.. so my 4ohm subs give me 2ohms.. which is better.. but there are lots of ways to wire.. and it depends on your amp. my amp is a 2chan zapco ag-350.. the 170w is rms so that may look abit low... that and i am not out for SPL.. more sound-q..

a second battery will NOT be needed. You may want to add a 1 farad capacitor to help prevent light dimming and extra strain on the alternator. Use 4 ga. power wire running directly from the battery and run it down the driver side. When running your RCA cables run them down the passenger side. The reason for this is to eliminate any engine noise. Keep the power wire as far from the RCA as you possibly can. use a 4ga. ground wire about 3 feet long and ground it directly to the chassis. make sure to scrape the paint away where you ground it. and make sure it is a solid ground. Also run the remote turn on wire along with the RCA. ALWAYS fuse the power wire 12 inches or less from the battery. One of these wiring kits can be purchased at Best Buy, Circuit City, Tweeter etc.....
