Invisable Antena???

I jsut had my camaro painted and had them shave off the antena on the front fender so now my car has no antena on it. I know radio shack sells ones that go on your winshield how well do they work??? I remeber a few years back i read somewere about an antena that you jsut run around the inside of your car it was like 10 feet long and it was susposto work just liek a normal antena. Any one herd of this? Are there any other options for me to have an antena I want one that actualy works my old one never did thats also part of the reason i took it off.

they do make them, I put one on my lil bro's mustang. It goes under the dash, and picks up all the stations the mast style did and then some. We carry them at circuit city. At least at my location. Retail is 50 bucks I believe and its an easy install.

I't shouldn't effect AM stations, AM is more subsetable to Faraday's sheilding but our cars have enough non metal areas that receptions should be decent.

My power antennae quit working in the up postion. After my car got broke into I cut it off to put a locking car cover on it. I went to replace it with a universal and thats when I realized it has an exceptionally long shaft and wouldn' twork with what I bought. So this internal antennae sounds like a great idea let me know how it works if you get one.

I shaved my antenna as well...

The STOCK antenna is now in the driver's fender, it gets great reception, but i live in the city.....

You just gotta bend it in the fender after removing it....

Just needs a alignment since i hit a truck tire in the freeway Feels werid driving it after not haveing it for 2 months. But any ways I foudn the antena's on ebay for 40 bucks search iniviable antenna and they should come up.
