i was thinking of adding a power antena. Not an adjustable one, but one that when the ignition is on the antena will extend and when the ignition is off it will retract. I think 3rd gens got this option, but my car is a 82 and dont think that was even an option back then. Anyone have any brands or sites they recomend and has anyone done this to a car that originaly had a regular antena? thanks for the input guys!

A power antenna was avialable back in 82. I would look in the junkyards for an F body power antenna. This way you'll have all of the wires and brackets you need and it will look factory installed. The aftermarket antennas I have seen look cheap and cheesey, the top of the antenna doesn't go down inside the body, they stop at the top mounting point. Just be sure to get all of the wires that are on the the "donor", except the coax. it'll make it easier to hook up in your car.
