anyone ever put 6x9s in the kick panels?

anyone ever put 6x9s in the kick panels?
just thinking about this as an option. why should the rear passengers get the louder and better sound than the guy behind the wheel? im tired of listening to the dash mounted 4x6s and have a spare set of Eclipse 3way 6x9s which id like to use (but not in the rear) and was just wondering if any of you guys have ever done something like this

if i had the money to drop on a set of seperates, i would. but cash is tight right now so i have to make do with what i have. ive got a set of Eclipse 6.5" coaxials and a pair of Eclipse 6x9 triaxials. id rather have the 6x9s up front cause theyd play lower and louder than the 6.5s
