which subs?? jl?
which subs?? jl?
hey, i have a pioneer deh-p740mp, i used to have infinity kappa subs b4 i went away, but i gave them to a friend b4 i left. now im back in the states and am left with out any subs. im looking to spend about $150 on each sub (i need 2 12s) and about $200(??) on an amp. i was considering jl 12w3v2 subs, and maybe a jbl amp? i need suggestions on what subs and amp, and why you pick the set up you suggest. last but not least, im not looking for RAW bass. i like hard hitting bass, but at the same time it must be a clean bass. i must say, my infinity kappas deffinetly were very clear. thanks!

Though i don't have my setup...I can say from experience that you would be better off to go with one JL 12w3v2 and a good JL amp...JBL is a nice bang for the buck amp...but when you want hard hitting but clean bass I'd go for a JL amp...that setup will hit alot harder then two with a JBL...But thats my opinion. Either way stick with JL audio cause their one of the best!

Yeah, JL Audio does make a great sub. Just remember that your amp MAKES your system. If you want quality, you may want to consider spending more than $200 on an amplifier. Here's a link, these guys have great deals on awesome brand name products.
