Which Sub to get: MTX 8000 or Premier SPL sub???
I was wondering which of these is the best choice....please don't recommend other subs to me.
Pioneer Premier TSW1500SPL
or
MTX Thunder 8000
Both would be receiving 300 watts of power.
Which one??? I think I like the premier but just wanted some more opinions.

oh yeah.....
I got the sub on Monday and installed it yesterday.
OMG!!!! it freakin' rocks, loudest single 10 inch woofer my ears have ever heard. I have my amp running at 1 ohm so it sould be getting about 300 watts per coil.
These are definately some of the beefiest subs I have ever seen. they are so deep I wasn't sure if it would even fit in the box.
THE ONLY thing I don't like is the sub doesn't hit the punchy high bass very well, it will bog/crackle with that kind of bass, but low bass, just plain rediculous. I'm sure this is because of the box i have it in but i have no other choice. It is in a MTX thunderform box which is probably about .6 cubic feet with the MTX sub in it, the Premier is much larger.
Anyway, I'll post pics ASAP.
I highly recommend them, only $115 a piece.

Very nice. Do you have a crossover on the amp? If it is adjustable you might want to drop it down a little so the 6x9s take the brunt of that higher bass, just an idea. I love my Pionner stuff! Can't wait for pics.
