Frusteration with Infinitys
Frusteration with Infinitys
Oh man am I irking...... Infinity stuff sounds so great, but it feels like there workmanship is looking more and more shoddy.
I've had the infinity refrence 4x6 plates, and they were awesome, but the problem I had is that they fell apart because of the UV rays we have here in FL. Which was annoying in itself, to spend $110 on them and have them fall apart around a year later.
Then I had also bought around the same time some Infinity 12" Refrence 1200watt subs, *** DAMN do they sound good. But the SAME stuff is happening to them!!!! There developing cracks where the light hits them (ONLY where the light hits them) and one has what looks to be a severe crack from this. I called crutchfield and I'm like, 2 months out of waranty on them. *** DAMNIT!!!!
And now, I'm shoping for some new 6x9's, new subs, and I might as well leave the polk 4x6's up front becuase they haven't had any problems at all. But I LOVE how infinity stuff sounds, so I'm torn
I was gonna make my car audio system all Inifinty save for the amps and the headunit, but now I dunno what to do!
Does anyone have any idea what I should do here... I'd like some alternatives that would live up to or surpass the inifinity's. But not for some outrageous price. Ughhh, man this bites.
Oh, and if anyone has any ideas on how I might fix my problems with the Inifnity's, I'm open to anything
Any preventative measures I could take or somthing.
Well, I just needed to vent and let everyone know what happened to me, and I want everyone to know that I loved my infinity's when they worked... but this is getting rediculous.
