MTX Digital 2 12" board... how old?

I found this in a car I stripped the other day, a 91 RS...

It's made by MTX, has 2 12" subs, 2 4" mids, and 2 2" tweeters. It says MTX Digital sound board or some such thing.

Does anyone know if these are old or any good?

you mean a plate with a pair of $.10 woofers and a couple cheap assed horn tweets? They're crap.

Wow, never heard anyone refer to MTX as crap...

anyway, back to my question. How old is it?

+ it has MTX Thunder 4000's on it, maybe not the best subs but they are still sold... in Crutchfield might I add.

Probably some kind of old-school "pre-made" package that MTX sold... couldn't find anything on in a Google search. I'd say just go by the model #'s on the components (like you did with the subs).
