Audiobahn !!!
Well decided to get 2 10 inch audiobahns last night. Here is the specs.
45 OZ. Strontium Magnet
2" 4 Layer Black Aluminum Voice Coil
300W RMS Power Handling Per Sub
30Hz - 1kHz Freq. Response
91dB Efficiency
Bumped & Vented Polished T-Yoke
Poly Coated 2 Layer Non Pressed Paper Cone
Lug Lock Terminals
Dual 4Ù Voice Coils Per Sub
1Ù or 2Ù or 4Ù or 2Ù Stereo Operation
Rubber Gasket & Magnet Mesh Cover
4-5/8" Mounting Depth
Here is the question.
Should I mount them basket up (show off the flame design) or should I mount them facing up of mount them to fire into the gas tank ?
I am going to pump 200 rms into each one of them is this enough?

I was wondering about mounting them and if 200 rms to each would be enough.
Now as for the advice, I think you are looking at peak power.
The MTX thunder 6000 is rated 250 rms ==Audiobahn 300rms
The Kicker 600watt is rated 150 rms==Audiobahn 300rms
The Sony Xplod is rated at 200rms==Audiobahn 300rms
The MTX thunder 8000 is rated 400rms (not to bad but 150 bucks)
Also everything you listed is over 100 bucks, I gave 70 bucks for both brand new in the box and a 1 year warrenty.

Forget the other subs, you made a good choice, audiobahns are VERY good. 200 rms should be ok, i have one 10 inch sub rated 400 rms and im puttin around 300 in it and it sounds good. Id mount them to show the basket, but be careful of theives, also, play around with the way you mount them see what sounds best. If they sound better mounted basket in you can always add a plexiglass window on the back of the box and add a neon lite to see the baskets.:lala:

Audiobahns are great subs, but yes you do pay for the prettiness. I have 1 12"s mounted basket down, as there was no other way to fit them lol
