I own a 1991 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 with fixed antenna mast. I purchased a universal power antenna from Classic Industries. I don't recall the name brand. How difficult is to install this power antenna? Do I have to take off the fender? How is an aftermarket power antenna compared to a GM power antenna? Has anyone posted a step-by-step instruction sheet on how install a power antenna? I also have another problem. My problem is that my cd player has gone bad. I put in a cd and it was playing fine. I shut off the car and left the cd inside the player. When I came back four hours later, I turned the car on and all of a sudden my cd player makes a ticking noise and it read ERR on the radio screen. I want to keep my original Delco radio/cdplayer. Where can I buy a cd player mechanism to replace to the one I have? Do car stereo places only have access to them? Your response is greatly appreciated.
