Speakers under dashpad?
What size are the speakers under the dashpad, i've never been under there. Where can I get speaker kick panels?
Anyone know someone who has 2000W in their hatch? I'm getting RF Power 12s and two RF 1050S amplifiers to power them, hope my hatch will survive. :lala:

i would advise keeping the windows down if your going to run that much....that is if the equipment truly puts out that much.
i will be pushing upwards of 4 but that is not continuous so i'm not worried.

if your putting that much power and money into the setup you should know all the shortcuts already or your installer should take care of any possible problems you may come along.
good luck and post some pictures.

Your hatch should survive easy. I'm running 2 18" CVRs with a JBL 1200.1 amp on each. I don't have any hatch problems yet. Course the SPL is killer so if you're gonna listen to it loud need to crack a window a little bit.

your running two 18" speakers in the back of a thirdgen??? i didn't know they would be that low in power. the only speakers of that size i've ever seen were easily over 4,000 nominal which would be absolutely overkill for a thirdgen.
that's a bit much.
