Wiring Help

Ok, I'm installing an amp....
The RCA's, speaker, and remote wires are all in place, but I can't find any way to route the power wire through the firewall. I've searched the message boards, and I'm pretty sure I have to drill, but I'm not too sure on how to do it. I am going through the passenger side. Do I drill a hole straight through the firewall, or through the side, into the fender where all the other wiring goes???? Also, where is a good place to tap for the ground? The amp is going to be placed behind the seats (not in the pocket).

BTW, I'm looking for a face to a Pioneer DEH-P7300. They broke into my car and only took the face
