Sub recommendations?

Right now I've got a little Sony 10" Xplode sub hooked up to an Alpine MRV-T301 (100 watts RMS @ 4 Ohm @ 12V - 150 watts RMS @ 4 Ohm @ 14.4V).

It's um... ok. .7 cubic ft sealed box. Decent, but not enough.

So I'm looking at making a new 12" box, for a 12" sub. I'm on a budget, and looking for a good combo of SQ and SPL.

I'm currently looking at -

12" Alpine Type R - $100
12" Infinity Kappa Perfect 12.1D - $139
12" Kicker Solo-Baric L5 - $135

As far as amp goes -

JBL 1200.1 - $260 (overhead for a 2nd 12", if I feel like it)

Now, I've noticed a LOT of recommendations for the Elemental Designs e12a... where do you get those, and what price are they?

Any other recommendations? As far as the three I picked, I'm leaning heaviest toward the Infinity. What do you guys think?

Ok, the e12K (Not the e12Kx) is also $135.

So now the running is between -

Alpine Type R 12"
Infinity Kappa Perfect 12.1D
Kicker SoloBaric L5 12"
Elemental Designs e12K

Comments? Choices?

i prefer kicker, although im not much for the solobarics.i had two 8' competitions in a small box in the trunk and people thought they were 12's. its pretty much all about imaging.you want to try and get a box that has the speakers firing torwards the rear,it will make more bass.

but that just my opinion

Reviews on the e12a are awesome... can't seem to find any on the e12k, though.

All the reviews I'm finding, are that in a sealed box, the Infinity's are blowing away the Type Rs, and L5s. Can anyone confirm/deny this?

Anyone heard the e12K Elementals?
