lol opinions on my Legacy amp?
lol this should be good, well I have the Legacy LA490 and for aperance I would give it an 8 outta 10. I really love the way it looks. It is rated 600x1 or 300x2 and only cost me 99.00 I know its not one of your best amps but 99.00 to push 300w to two speakers, when your not looking to spend to much cash on an amplifier I would say these are decent amps.
Here is my amp

I would say they are among the lowest quality amps on the market.

personally i dont even like the looks of the amp, it reminds me of a "blinged" out version of PG's amps (great amps i may add)...but for 99$ theres only so much you can buy, but i know i would have spent it somewhere else

You realize that's 300x2 PEAK, right?
I'd be suprised if those amps pushed an actual steady stream of about 50 watts.
Seriously, what are they using for fuses?

lol your probably right because it seems to be pushing some 100w rms JBLs pretty hard, about as much as they can handle, cant imagine those JBLs getting any louder then that.

I think you missed his point
Legacy is kinda like sonys amps, rated 1000wats yet puts out like 50 a channel. What size is the fuse on the amp? TGO Supporter

Dude, the reason you think your JBLs can't go any louder is because your amp is clipping, not because the subs can't handle more. Trust me. You can hire a retard to bang on his drool cup with a paper drumstick and not only will it be louder, it'll sound better.

I think your missed the hpoint dude, I'm not saying legacy amps are some good quality amps, just collecting opinions on the low quality amp. I dont need to be convinced that this is not a high quality amp.

there's a reason why you wont get too many personal stories on legacy; they are extremely bottom of the barrel (like pyramid). if you want in expensive, look into the Lanzar Opti line of amps. can be found cheap on ebay all day and put out what they are supposed to. also look into US Acoustics; no nonsense budget amps. but dont touch legacy. their two most recent amp lines are cheap imitations (visually) of sony amps and pheonix gold.

all in all yes, I do agree that legacy is some low line stuff, but I still have to admit they did work well with some 100W rms JBLs. Two cheap products that seem to work well with eachother.

probably would
Just to be curious, know where I can find a cheap wattage tester? I could hook it up to that amp and crank it to see what its actually putting out.

lol ok, enough from the children whom try to step on others to better themselves. Not happening bud, you only make yourself look foolish by talking like that. So go and join an army full of ignorant people just like yourself, then once you have that complete, forget just what exactly the point of that your were uselessly ranting about and find something better to do just in time for you to grow up. Me and the other adults will be waiting for you there.
