Stock hinged well cover

Anybody know or attempt to use this as their sub deck? wondering if it would work well or not, this just poped into my head so I havn't really thought it out or anything just looking for a comment.

I did when I first got into car audio. When I bought the car there were already holes in the deck, so I threw some crappy 12's in there and I really sounded like crap. If you do that you will be disappointed. Stick with an enclosure of some sort.
