(ASAP) need advice on a good amp for my 12"
Ok I currently have 6-1/2 front, 6x9 side panels, cd head unit, and 2 - 12" IMPP with an elclosed box. All of my system/speakers are Pioneer. I went to a (soundwaves)store and they told me that a Memphis 1500w mono amp would pound them? What do you guys think about Memphis amps(I was looking toward Kicker mono amp)? Or what other amp/brand would you guys recommend, my 12" are Pioneer IMPP dual voice coil (1,000 Watt) subs. Really need help on this one im just waiting till tomorrow(payday) to go buy it, lol , help?

what model IMPP are they?
memphis makes some really good amps, so does kicker but i think 1500 watts might be too much for IMPPs. Its tough to know without the sub specs

i wouldnt give those subs more than 500 rms (which is what they're rated at)
the memphis st1000d puts out 1100 @1ohm which is what you'll probably want...and set your gains wisely
the st1500d puts out its power at 2 ohms which is useless for you unless you plan on only using one sub and really over powering it
