Nice install. Those things look like they could pick up cable.

The subs sound.....OMG loud!!!!

I was thinking about an AMP change.....until I heard the 12's...Loud enough for now. I was afraid that the Sony would not push the 12's but it handles his own pretty good (coupled with the fact that my Panasonic Ghost face puts out 5 volts at the pre amps). If I did not have the head unit it would probably not sound as good. I saw a BIG difference going from Sony ESP (electronic shock protection....which NEVER skipped BTW) to the Ghost face.

Ok.......I am ranting now

If you had to advise me on selection of AMP, what would it be??

depending on your box size....i would probably say a JBL 1200.1 would be good for the pair. This sub amp combo was super popular about 3 years ago, if you go with this amp you'll have to make sure it has enough current flowing to it and that the gains are set well because perfects have been known to blow with 600-700 watts if the gains werent set smartly

those amps are quite reliable i dont remember hearing of one blowing. It will blow the subs if you arent careful, but thats true with almost any setup
