4th gen radio question....

Car: 1989 Firebird Formula 350
Engine: 350 TPI
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 9 Bolt Borg Warner 3.27 gears
4th gen radio question....
I want to put a 4th gen in my 91 RS.I'm thinking about getting a '98 model or so cd head unit to put in and I was wondering if it will fit without cutting or alteration.Also, is'nt the harness pretty much the same?

Engine: GM HO 350 Crate (Vortec headed w/TPI) / SC 5.4 330
Transmission: Rebuilt 700R4 (Raptor Rebuild Kit)
It will fit, but you might have to cut the little plastic thingy on the back of the radio. Harness I do not know too much about, but I have seen MANY 4th gen radios in third gens.
Do a search on it and you will see what I mean
