amp setup
Ok, i dont know if anyone has done this before but i dont know much about car audio and this stuff so tell me what i should do.
I want to set up a box in the back of my car and put a single 12" sub in there along with 2 6x9's. I've already got the 6x9's and my frined is selling me the sub at a good price. Dont have the specs on it right now, but its suppoesd to be pretty good, i'll post em as soon as he email's me back.
Anyway, so this is 3 speakers in the back (im still planning on keeping 2 6x9's in the sail panals) should i run 1 4 channel amp or a 2 channel for the 6x9's and a mono for the sub?
the 6x9's are 240W xplods.

They're a couple years old, birtday present from the parents. Bash if you want but i've went back and read posts on them so i know what you all think. Frankly, i dont know enough about car audio to form a worthwhile opinion, but this isnt about the 6x9's its about the amp(s), and how to set it/them up.
I've started researching amps on TGO and am wondering weather to go with a cheap high wattage pyle/pyrimid/legacy from etronics, or pick up a lower watage alpine off of ebay.
I'll post links and other stuff when i find out more.
thanks,

hmmm okay its model cs-wg1200 its 1000W peak 350W rms (rms being the continuous handeling power). it has a dual voice coil so there are two sets of red and black terminals. both of the coils are 4 ohm, so they recommend a 2 ohm mono amp (dont ask me why) umm i have the manual for it with me and whenever you want i can drive around and have you listen to it. the recommend box design in like 1.2 cubic feet "specially designed for small enclosures" so that should be cool for a camaro. the brand is JVC and its their Warren G signature seris, they make a 12" and a 10" , i have the 12 cause the dude at best buy said that one 12" would be way loude than 2 12" kenwoods. i have a fosgate amp that i bought at best buy for 179... although right now on Ebay they have the same amp with a buy it now price of 97$.... dammit and an amp kit for 20$ with a few hours left to bid. the only warren G i see on ebay is 150 with a box so **** that. so yeah i would recommend this sub, all the review sites seem to love it and its been pretty good at making bass as opposed to being this loud annoying thing that vibrates the **** out of your trunk. so give me a call
