http://mmxpress.com/qlogic.html these prefabbed ones are quite pricey and arent as durable as ones you would make yourself but not everyone has the resources to make their own. I thinjk you might have to call to get f-body specific pods

I think there is someone on the boards that is still making them.
They are dj sexay molds so basically they are dj sexays.

And believe me there great, I got them over 2 years ago. And I wouldn't have it anyother way.

Here is a pic of what they look like

I would consider buying a pair of these if they could be made for me. The 4x6's in the dash just dont cut it anymore.

Is there something wildly special about your car or something?

i was always ify about the panels. i think they would get abused from people getting in and out and especialy with wet feet. wouldnt putting them in the door be more efficent?

generally kick pods will give you a better soundstage...but a well designed door pod can also be very good

if you put them in the door panel you will probably run into knee room problems... Instead of foot room problems.. I have seen them in the door before, but if you are going to put in some nice speakers, you are going to need some magnet space... THe kenwood dual mags are pretty small back there.

Again like "Boomin Boy" said the soundstage is better down there.

I seem to have plenty of foot room in my car. Im sure kick panels would be a nice addition to the car. Is there someone on here that makes them? Cant seem to find anywhere else.

If I get time to make a mold of mine this year, I may start producing them. I may modify them to accept 7" and 5.25" drivers too.

The only problem with that is space, its alreadt cramped with them as they are, if they were any bigger I wouldn't have got them

And if you look at the picture I posted above, there is room, not lots but there is room for feet.

Either or I guess, although carpet would be easier to match; as I have the lovely carmine interior

How much if they are covered in the grey vinyl? for 6.5 inchers? I'd rather give money to a fellow 3rd-genner than Q-Logic
