How would i wire this up???

ok ive got an older kenwood preamp syste with three amp outputs. 1 rear, 1 front, and 1 nonfafding (sub)
and my uncle got me an eq, that has 1 line in, and a rear out, front out, and a sub out. How would i wire this in, or would it be better to just leave out the eq?

heres a drawing of what the back looks like onb my head unit

If the non-fading output on the deck is in full range mode(not low pass), then you can use that to the input into the eq, and then just use the ourputs on the eq to the amps in your system.

If the EQ has front/rear/and sub out, then it should have fader controls.

My vote is: What's newer? (And I mean that in terms of what year those pieces were made?)

If the radio is newer, you're probably better off using the preamps directly off the radio, and not using the EQ.

If the eq is newer, you might want to do as RSpeed says. Even my old Sherwood (which was set up like your EQ is, front/rear/sub outputs) had a front/rear fader on it.

And you probably know this, but it's my pet peeve, so I've gotta vent! But I've seen guys twist the EQ ***** so all the ***** are at max- well that's the same thing as putting the EQ ***** back in the middle, and just turning up the volume more. When they do that, it defeats the whole point of an EQ.

Make sure you warn your passengers not to touch the sliders...

well honestly i think the hu is older, but still sounds awsome, and with the caps on the front speakers, some on the rear, and the built in crossover in the subs amp, it sounds pretty damn awsome. That and my uncle told me why he gave me the eq, was because it would make noise (enginew noise) and its also legacy which i hear is crap, so im just gonna say forget it, and leave it. Im hoking it up to my old *** radion in my room right now
