My 1983 z28 has what I think is the original radio with tape deck. Both work fine, till today, the digital numbers(light)has almost faded out completely, you can just barely see it. The radio/tape deck works good. Is there some type of dimmer switch or something like that, that I may have bumped, or lowered???, or maybe the electronic numbers are just old and on their way out? I could not find anything that looked like a hi/low switch. The only thing I have done lately is reset the stations, time because I had pulled the fuse to work on something in that circuit. Appreciate any tips to try. We did pull the radio part way out, and there does not appear to be any light bulbs, probably a digital number display of some kind. Thanks for any help given.
