i had 4 stock alts in my first car...at $25 each it was the most economical option

for 90% of setups out there one larger alt will do the job and cause less problems

But your better of with a higher compacity amp in the long run, it will produce more power, all the cap will do is keep a small reserve for the amp, it really does nothing.

Engine: Pos 2.8 pulled and replaced with a 350 tpi motor converted to carb.
Transmission: 700r4, vette servo,shift kit, hayden 15"x8" trans cooler.
Also heres more involved with running two alts in your car then just figuring out how to mount it and run the belt. Like everyone else said buy a HO alt. They have sizes so high in output that you'll never have a problem.

BTW DONT waiste your money on a caP.
