bridging

when you want to bridge the subs, do you have to change the connections inside the box as well? Like on my box, the postive and negative leads are running off of the 2 connections on the box then correspond to the subs.

You didn't go into alot of detail here.....

but let's say the subs are already in paralell (one pair of terminals connecting two subs) this should be roughly 2 ohms when read with a meter......in that case no

lets say, you have a pair of terminals for each sub.....no again, all you need to do is connect the wires in paralell OUTSIDE the box. electrically it would be the same.

whatever you do, you should have the same impedence or above for your amp bridged.

i meant like, i don't have the subs installed in the box yet but the connections are already leading off of the red and black speaker terminals that would hook to the subs. So there is the outside of the box whgere you would connect the wires coming off the amp to the outside connection on the box, then there are the 4 connections on the inside that connect to each sub.

Sorry but im finiding it hard to explain

connect the red to red (+) and black to black (-)

this is a parallel connection. this is what you most likely need to do.

chances are the two subs are 4 ohms each, therefore they will be 2 ohms in parallel.
