New Speaker Question

I bought 2 Infinity kappa 3 way speakers for the rear of my 84 camaro, and 2 Infinity kappa 2 way speakers for the front. When I purchased them at Sounddomain.com it said easy installation, which it was realitavly easy, but the speakers didnt match the stock speaker fittings, which dissapointed me because I didnt want to start butchering up my car.
Now its time for me to get speakers for my 83 camaro, and I dont want the same problem, does any one know of any desent-expensive speakers that will fit the original speaker fittings?
Thanks Alot.

6x9 and 4x6, but they fit in the housing, the thing that didnt fit was the speaker connectors.

no aftermarket speaker will fit up to stock harnesses. however, i believe you can get adapters from www.crutchfield.com (you may have to ask about them) or from the Metra brand (can be found at any reputable stereo shop). there were a set of these in my car when i got it and made things easier in case i needed to go back to stock

They have the adapters for the factory plugs down at Autozone. I found this out after I put my rear speakers in unforunately.
