Big problem with stock radio

I had the stock radio in my 92. I put on the aftermarket adapter just to test a CD player, and I think I heard a popping sound when I was moving it around.

My problem now, is that I put the stock back in and the display doesn't light up and I get a staticky feedback sound and nothing more. Even worse, when I have my signal on, the noise is distorted.

All under dash fuses are fine...anyone have any ideas? I need music for the cruise to the Clash of the Titans this Saturday. Thanks in advanvce!

check your wiring. The popping was probably due to a connection that wasn't secure, and kept going on and off. Now it's gotten worse and doesn't provide contact at all.

I'll look at that, but none of the stock wiring has been touched/hacked up. I'll look into it tonight after I get off work. This is really annoying...no stereo install has ever given any problem, especially a stock radio...
