Hey guys im looking to set up some sort of a decent system in my 85 iroc-z. I was wondering if a PANASONIC CQ-DF903U
would be a decent cd player for my car and would it fit? Im also wondering if i should buy wiring for it and how much would that be? Right now i have two pioneers in the dash and two 6x9 pioneers in the pillars. Im fixing to upgrade the 6x9's and also get an amp and atleast two 12 inch subs. Do you guys have any tips on what gear would sound good?? And also boom real loud cuz my friends at my high school thump pretty loud. Also, on regards to the sub box? How would I go about fabricating it because the local tunes shop charges 149.99 for a 3/4" custom box for a 82-92 camaro and thats a bit too much for me because im just a high school student on a tight budget. havent heard anything about panasonic. But high end Pioneer, alpine, clarion, eclipse are some good brands. Just dont go sony, jensen, etc.

150 is actually good prebuilt to fit. I paid 250 for mine. If your good with MDF(wood) Id suggest building your own. Someone could prolly get u the dimensions. If your tight on money is building a system something you wanna do. Cuz with subs your gonna want subwoofer output.(usually around 200-300.00 at least head unit.)

As for subs just look around the site. Theres TONS of threads suggesting starter systems, mediocre systems, comp etc. Lots of ppl bash sony and rockford. But Ive got sony amp and subs and it doesnt sound bad. Im not looking for competition stuff either.
