I just received my Infinity 693.5i 6x9s. They come with a crossover for the midrange & the tweeter...single in, dual//filtered out. I don't have the specifications for Infinity's crossover. I'm debating on using their crossover, or tossing it
& just using my amplifier (Kenwood KAC-859) with two runs to each 6x9. Any advice? My initial thought is...Infinity should know their stuff.

 

use it numb nuts, that is what it's there for.

it's a high pass to protect the tweeter, and a low pass to keep the highs out of the midrange driver.
