Cerwin Vegas
does ANYONE have any pics of their Cerwin Vega setups ....when i get my car back ill post mine im just wonderin how many others ran Vegas
There doesn't seem to be too many people running Cerwin Vegas nowadays. I'm running two 10" Vegas in a large, ported, custom fiberglass box I made that fills the well area in my '91 Camaro. I've had them for years now. They're getting 150W rms each from an old JVC Digifine amplifier. I've never heard a 10" on 150W that was louder for anywhere close to the money I spent. I think it depends alot on the box design. My tastes have refined, though, and I wish they were as "musical" as the Velodyne I use in my home theater setup. I haven't really tried tuning the box any in years to see what sound quality gains can be acheived. They still sound pretty good, though, as long as I have their volume adjusted to blend in with my other speakers. When I got them I just wanted them loud. I don't even think CV makes the Vegas any more because people were scared away from subs that require a ported box. Sorry .... you asked for pictures and I don't have one to show you right now.
