engine noise

engine noise
i just put a stereo system in my s-10 and im getting a humming noise out of the speaker i hooked up, the noise increases with the rpm's of the truck. i was told it could be a ground problem or my alternator, if anybody can help i would appreciate it. thanx!

, but try and take the ground for the HU out of the harness and ground it something mettle. What's the make/model for the HU? Are you running and amp? Also, try and
