what fits?
ok im planning my build up for when i get my camaro. what speakers fit in the car? i would like to do components up front, some nice 6x9's in the rear and 2 12's. any recomendation on size, locations, power from the amp (i want a 2 amp setup, one for the 4 channels and 1 for the subs) i dont pump the tunes to much, i like crisp sound. i listen to mostly punk, rock, and metal. i also need a good headunit.

4x6 under the dash pad, 6x9 in b-pillars
If you want the crisp-est-istest sound possible, ditch the 4x6's and the 6x9s. Make your own mounting plates for the rear 6x9s, to fit 6.5's and order a set of kickpanels for another set of 6.5 seperates. If you want clear crisp bass, dont go with two 12's. Just go with a single 10. I'm planning on throwing an ED system in the iroc once I get everything else worked out.

They're cheap, and Ive heard nothing but good things about them.

any specific writeups for adding 6.5's? should i get components for the front and just 6.5 for the rear? once i get the car the interior will be gutted to add the rollcage and dynamat. so any fabbing can be done then.

ok now comes the stupid questions. for the front obviously the 6.5 components wont fit in the dash so being poor i should try to make them from fiberglass. im guessing the kickpanels on the floor would be a good mold? i never tried fiberglass before so insight is good. i printed out all the stuff in the stick at the top of the board. ill read that later. the 6.5 in the pillar are self expanitory. now for the sub. one 10 works for me since that less $$ i have to spend on gear and can put it into better wireing and other components. i figure ill try to fab a fiberglass box out of one of the side compartments. being retarted with airspace is there a program or formula so once i pick my sub i can just make estimate measurments of the body where the box will be made? i want it to stick partly to the side cause i like the way it reflcts off the glass.

ok this may be boarding the short bus but would 5.25 fit in the dash? i already have a nice ma audio set of 5.25 and an extra set of just the 5.25 that i was going to use in my gtp. i forgot about them until i had to go in my closet. or is the 6.5 that much superior

Anything will fit with enough fabrication. If you're going to go that extreme, dont even mess with the dash, just put 6.5s in a custom mold kick panel.
