i was at a local shop checking out some speakers. i am set that i am getting boston acoustics for my components. i was looking at the 500/1 JL am and two W3 12's. the prices for the subs and amp and wires ended up running me about 1200 bucks. now i have herd plenty of systems that sound just about as good as this set up but i know is not the same price.

if i could get some personal experiences with these brands, your pick and about how much they would run me that would be awesome. i know most of you are going to say search, already have and i havnt been able to find what im looking for. hope i can find it with this thread

 

What kinda of output are you looking for?

You can build a very nice/decent sub-stage for alot less then $1200.

i dont want to go through ebay, ive done it too many timesand got screwed over. so no ebay. i dont want anything thats going to make me go deaf, but something that will rattle my ear drums. im just looking for a max amount of 1k$ (amp and subs).

Each of these subs would do very well for daily. Give one of them 300-600 wrms in a sealed/glassed enclosure.

Or get loud and port them a lil bigger.
