Battery Dies On Me ?
I just installed a new sub in my car. My problem is that my car has died twice on me when I try to start it and I have had to jump start it. What could be causing my battery to die? Too much draw from the sub?? Im only running one 12'' infinity sub at 500 watts RMS or so. Thanks!

Yes; the green light on my class d amp does infact turn off when I turn the car off. I used the remote turn on wire from my head unit to also activate my amp and turn it off. Is there anything else I could do to check for problems? I dont think there could be a short because my sub works perfectly. Any suggestions? THANKS!

Could be a lot of thing. Could just be the battery.
Got a DMM? See how much current is drawn from the batter when the car is off and let use know. Could also have to battery tested someplace, it's never a bad idea to check the simple problems first.

ya your battery is prolly toast. My battery on my cutlass just died and it was under warranty. I actually got a better one in its place
A system draws a decent amount of power. Its a good idea to have a strong battery/alternator when you have subs.
