Need some help, sub and amp question
Okay, i've tried searching here, google, and a few other places, and cant really find out how to do what I want to do.
I've got a lanzar vibe 900 amp, 900watts 4ohms ,ect.
Then I've got an 8ohm 15 inch sub (i've found 2 spec sheets, one says its 350 watts the other says 150. I'm going with the safe side and saying 150. probably 150 RMS 350 peak.)
my question, how could I wire this to work? how can make a 4 ohm amp put an 8ohm signal?

the amp doesnt put out a 4ohm or any ohm signal. but the power that goes to the speaker depends on the ohms o resistance teh speaker shows the amp. so if your amp is 900watts RMS x1 at 4ohms id say you prolly have 450rms x1 at 8ohms which is still over powering that sub anyhows. be careful to set the gains and boosts low as to not blow the sub.

The biggest thing to keep in mind is not to go UNDER the rated load of the amp (for the most part). You'll have less power, but you wouldn't kill the amp.
