What is the first year the factory offered CD decks in camaros?

Late 1989 was the first year they where available. But if you put one in your 88, I doubt anyone would take notice. Unless they really know their stuff. Especially since it's an IROC..

Thanks for the info. The original owner swapped in a factory CD deck to keep the stock look. Don't know what year it is from, but it looks like it came with the car!
