MA audio amplifier

I jsut got my new MA audio hk800d the other day and installed it. It worked fine for a day but then i started having troubles...its a mono amp and im running a 2 ohm load. While listening to the amp the LED will first light up blue...but only for a split second....then it either goes to red....or the LED turns off altogether. I looked things over real quick but im not sure exactl where look. i tried connecting the remote wire to a different 12v but there wasnt a difference. The amp fuses are all good. Any ideas on what to look for.

Your amp is going into protect. Try disconnecting the speakers (with the amp off). If the amp still goes into protect, disconnect the RCA cables (with the amp off) and try again. Let use know what happens. DON'T just leave the amp on with load for more then a min. or 2.
