New Speaker Choices...

Ok im tired of my set up and looking for something new( not subs tho ).

heres the deal: my set is on the dash and run of the HU

i want more midbass because the highs are fine and the subs get low.
should I,
1. make kick panels and move what i got to them....was planning on this anyways

2.Amp the current speakers( would this help???)

3. buy some nice 6x9s and put em back in the sailpanels

4 buy a round midbass driver( what size?) and mount in the sails..

i dunno what to do and wanna know some good speaker brands( id rather pay more and get better stuff then settle for crap)

how are the JL audio speakers( ive seen 6x9s, components and whatever online)?

So all your current speakers are stock? I made kickpanels and mounted some Alpine 6.5"mid/1"tweet SPR-176A components in them, put two 10" Sony Xplodes in the hatch and later on replaced the stock delco 6x9s with some cheap **** Kenwoods....

If your stuff is stock, dont amplify them...Just throw them out and buy some speakers.. I fyou want good mid range.. Buy some decent 6.5" components.. (Infinity makes great stuff for a good price) and runt hem off an amp... Never run good speakers of a hea dunit.. it's just pointless. Head units are head units, not amps. If I were to do mine over... the kickpanels take up a lot of room... no more clutch foot resting area. My left foot lives ont he clutch forever. I'd probably just buy some good Infinity 6x9s to replace the rears and some kappa plates for the front... Otherwise I think my system sounds pretty damn good. The leg room is hurtin though.

you shoulda read my profile..... i have a pretty nice system now, i just feel that i could be getting "more".

i was def gunna do kicks. i guess i gotta hurry and get some fiber glass crap. my foot is never comfortable so it roams usually i have it bent closer to the seat so kicks wont bother me. im prolly gunna get some decent 6x9s and see how they work out b4 amping my components
