hey guys im trying to hoow my new sub and amp up , i ran the power wire , 4 gauge , i grounded the sub , so power and ground is done , i did the wire from the sub to the thing in the side of the box , then from that to the amp , and bridged it since its a single sub, and ran the rcas, i have a sony deck with a wire stickin out that says sub mono so i hook it to that and nothing . what the hell do i need to do , i had some remote turn on wire with the amp install kit but now i dont know what to do with it . help . im trying to get this done now so im pissed that it doesnt work , plaese help guys.

You grounded the sub or the amp?
You need to run the remote wire for the HU (blue with white stripe) to the amp (Remote in).
We need to work in the descriptions here. You need tree “power” Wires to the amp. B+, Gound, and remote in. Then two wires to the sub (speaker box). Then the RCAs to the HU. DO NOT Disconnect the ground with the RCAs plugged in EVER.

yeah this problem was fixed almost as soon as i typed this , i talked with jim85iroc , well this was my first time installing an amp and sub and i didnt install the remote turn on wire . I didnt realize that i had to cut a wire and then wire the remote wire in , but after that it all worked out great . JimRULES
