Problem with cassette player

Problem with cassette player

Yes,a CASSETTE player on my 91 bird.It worked fine yesterday and now whenever I pop a tape in,it runs it for a second,switches sides and spits it out..With every tape i stick in there same thing.WTF is happeneing.? I need my music!

umm.. why dont u just buy a new cd and/or cassette player if your that interested. could be the fact that its what.. 14 years old?

Yeah I was going to get a CD player but its too much of a hassle and im too lazy.It worked perfectly fine the day before and it seems like it wants to work but it spits the tape out.

If it's to much hassle to replace it, it going to be way to much hassle to fix it.
Could be a bad belt (most likely) or a real sensor problem.
