could i only get JBL amp?
im almost done the system for my Z28 and all i need to get is the amp for my subs and install eveything in my car. All of of my speakers are JBL, two 10" 1000W JBL subs, JBL 6x9 and 4x6. my head unit is a Clarion DXZ855MP and my subs are in a custom inclosed sub box. anyway my issue is that the JBL amp im getting is like over 600$ canadian i think, its the GTO1201.1 II 1200 Watt Class D Subwoofer Amplifier. i was wondering if theres any other amps out there that are cheaper that are just as good or even better then the JBL amp? how many Watts would my amp need to push these subs PERFECT?? if anyone has any suggestion on a amp for my setup please let me know.

you should match up the RMS on the subs to the RMS on the amp you decide to buy. If you have GTI 1000watt RMS subs and 2 of them then youll need a hefty amp or two to push em.

Most "high power" subs can reach maximum excursion with significantly less power than they can physically withstand without damage (i.e. their "RMS" power rating).
