Replacing Stock Speakers

i bought my car last year, and they previous owner had installed 2 rockford 12s in the back. the bass is sweet in the car, but im a little unhappy with the stock speakers that are left. i have called a couple places around me and they have recommended mTx speakers or boston acoustics. id be replacing both the ones in the dash and in the sail panels.

what do you guys think i should go with?
Which ones will be louder and better quality?

i listen to mostly classic rock, not much rap at all.

thanks
adam

I'm running pioneer 4-way 6x9s in the rear and the 100w 4x6s up front. Very crisp-definetly great for rock. You might want to keep these in mind.

boston acoustic and infinity and good choices but be prepared for 4-6 issues.

Hi. Pop in at a Best Buy or place like that and go to the sound board. You can compare a few brands on the spot.
Personally I like the JBL 4x6's for the front, They are so clear.
Sound is a personal preference. It's what sounds good to you.
Try to stick with a known brand for reliability sake. Other than that let your pocket and your ears choose for you.

i would get with the boston acoustic 4*6 in the dash cause there not as harsh as other speakers like the kappa's and jbl's and i would get the jbl power 6*9 in the sail's becuase they do have really good sound quality and since there in the sails there not as harsh but i listen to alot of rap so that can do a lot with it but if you listen to like classical or jazz then jbl power's or infinity kappa's all the way around
