help with sub selection

alright i just bought an elemental designs nine.1 amp. this thing is nasty lol. im having some trouble deciding on subs though. i know i want 2 12's, and i'd like some brahmas or xxx's, but i just can't see spending 7 or 800 dollars on 2 12's. im thinking maybe 4-600. i used to be heavily into car audio 4 years ago but i lost my license for 3 years, so im way behind the times. i know brahmas are the baddest of the bad, but is my nine.1 enough to run 2 12's hard? i want decent sound quality but im leaning towards spl, and i have a sealed box, staying with it until i can afford a custom one, but i'll probably stay sealed as i listen to rock as well as rap and like the versatility. any suggestions?

well im pretty sure im going to go with 2 elemental designs 13ov.2's and run the nine.1 at 1 ohm. this should be plenty of power to run them right? it is supposed to put out 1200 watts at 1 ohm, and everyone says they're very underrated, and the subs are made by the same company and rated at 600 watts a piece. good match? lord knows the price is right, i got that nine.1 for only 300 bucks, they have too many in stock or something so you can get one for 50 bucks off by putting in a coupon code, i can't remember it but just look in their forums, its a sticky or something there. also the 13ovs are under 200 a piece and are supposed to be just as good as the jl 12w6v2s. you can also get 10 percent off if you buy a pair, so that cames to 360 bucks for 2 very good 12's. i love it when a plan comes together...

alright scratch that. decided i dont want to wait 6 weeks for the 13ov.2's which from what i've been reading are not as loud as some of the other choices in that price range. so today i ordered me 2 dual 4 ohm voice coil soundsplinter rl-p 12's.
should have them around friday
