why wouldent i be able too? i just recently replaced my dashpad and the speakers in there were 4x6's, i dont think the infinity ones are any biger then the stock GM ones. You think these speakers will give out decent amount of bass too? i just like really really loud music, its kinda hard to hear music if its quitet when the AC's going full blast and the ttops and windows down and flowmaster exaust and going around 60mph lol, if you know what i mean :-)

well in my experience, there arent any 4x6s out there that will put out good bass without distorting. if you are wanting to be able to crank it and have it sound good, you definately need a sub of some sort and an amp with high and low pass filters. unless you already have that stuff. The infinity's will however put out great highs and mids. IMO they are some of the best sounding speakers for the money. but again, that depends on what kind of head unit and amps you have, ect. the speakers will only sound as good as the head unit allows. But as i said, infinity's sound great!

yeah, i had a little bit of trouble installing my 4x6s in my dash, but you can get them in. the 6x9s wont be a problem if you install them in the sail panels though.

ive got the 462.7 4x6s in my dash. the passenger side one dropped right in. the drivers side, i had to grind some plastic away for the crossover and magnet to fit. sound great though, 2 of my 4's in the back are blown so i barely even have them playing, its basically just my 4x6's until i get my 6.5 koda components, and they scream, loud enough my ears ring for 20 minutes after i listen to some loud music. im using an amp to run them though, would recommend you pic up a quality amp to run those, would set you back maybe 2-300 bucks but it would sound so much nicer
